The best advice I was ever given was....

To never take life too seriously.

Through my short 19 years of life, I definitely have learned to apply this to my life. Back in middle school, the biggest thing you had to worry about was what bitch was saying you stuffed your bra with toilet paper. Like.. who cares. Maybe you did insert some extra umph, maybe not. Whatever, let the bitch gab. However, at the time this was like a Hiroshima bomb went off in my tiny, miniscule life. In high school, you freaked out when you saw your puppy love texting another girl. In college, your worries also shift according to the time and amount of partying you choose to engage in.

None of this really matters in the grand scheme of things. One of my favorite quotes is definitely "It all gets better next month"... because seriously, it does. You forget about what you were worrying about the month before.

So take a breath when the going gets rough and the rough gets going.
